The Art Of Art Teaching

The art of teaching is a key factor to improve the quality of teaching in art courses. The famous Russian educationist Sukhomlinski emphasizes that education, if has no beauty, no art, is unimaginable. But according to current conditions, people don't attach enough importance to the problem of art of teaching. Even if there exists some attention, there are always kinds of misunderstandings. For example, people take it for granted that because the content is art itself in the art teaching, teaching is provided with artistic quality naturally and definitely, and art teaching is a kind of artistic teaching without question. Further more, there are many problems in the art teaching: art teaching doesn't emphasize the characteristic of art appreciation and lacks artistic quality; the content of art teaching doesn't contain enough art, the measure of teaching lacks artistic quality; the art teacher doesn't have enough cognition about art teaching and lacks consciousness and capability about the art of teaching; teacher doesn't melt the essence of art appreciation into courses, leads to lacking of subjectivity, visualization, creativity, or emotionality, and even leads to inharmonious relationship between teacher and student, and so on.Art teaching is the process that the teacher shows the form of artistic beauty to the students, transfer the essence of beauty, and appreciate beauty and apperceive beauty with the students. So I think that it'snecessary to obey the characteristic of art appreciation, let teaching be aesthetic and artistic. The art of teaching is the combination of all kinds of measures and methods to achieve best education and teaching effect that follows the rule of teaching, the rule of beauty and the characteristic of art appreciation, and lets students achieve appreciation joviality by inducing and enhancing their sense of appreciation.During discussing the problems about art of teaching in art education, the author first expatiate problems such as the essence and characteristic of appreciation, only teaching lay stress on the essence and characteristic of art appreciation is really art teaching, the relationship between art teaching and the art of teaching, the puzzledom of the art of teaching, and so on. Second, the author probe into and demonstrate the problems about the art of teaching in art teaching from four parts. In the first part, the author proposes the artistic quality of the contents in art teaching; In the second part, the author discusses the artistic quality of teaching measures from seven aspects: the artistic quality of teaching scene, the artistic quality of teaching rhythm, the artistic quality of teaching space, the creativity of art teaching, the uniqueness of art teaching, the intuitionisticness of art teaching and the sensibility of art teaching; In the third part, the author discusses the artistic quality of the relationship between the teacher and the student; In the fourth part, the author advises the artistic quality of the teaching effect.In this paper, I analyze the existing problems theoretically and discuss measures to solve the problems. I try to provide art teaching with new thought and new theory base, provide art teaching with references to improve the art of teaching in all kinds of courses. At the same time, I try to do my best to enrich and complete the theory of art teaching, and dedicate myself to the development of art education.
