Research On Yan Yanzhi And His Works

The main body of the dissertation wants to estimate Yan Yanzhi and his works impersonally by way of the study about Yan Yanzhi , who is a great master in the Southern Dynasty.As one of"three great masters of Yuan Jia", Yan Yanzhi,who has been made a noise in the world in Liu Song Dynasty, has important influence on the style of poems and articles. However, the scholars hardly pay attention to Yan Yanzhi for kinds of reasons. The foreword combs through all articles about Yan Yanzhi grapping the status quo about studying Yan Yanzhi. The text is divided into four parts: the first part introduces Yan Yanzhi's life and his creations in all periods. At the same time, it analyzes the background of the age and the circle of friends to master his ideology and get a conclusion: the Confucianism is the main part in the ideology of Yan Yanzhi including the thoughts of Buddhism and metaphysics.The second part introduces literary thoughts, especially his stylistics and poetics, then criticize accurately the contribution on literary theory. The spare parts analyze the works of Yan Yanzhi at several aspects such as using literary quotation to grip the artistic feature.Yan Yanzhi lived between the last years of the Jin Dynasty and the first years of the Song Dynasty, and he made an active exploration of the style of poem. He added fuel to the fire in the development of the parallel prose. So we should think much of Yan Yanzhi's contribution.
