A Study Of Ertang(二塘) And Shuishan(水山) Cantonese In PingLe(平乐) County

This thesis narrates pronunciation system,words of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) village in PingLe(平乐) county,Guilin city,Guangxi province.This thesis also compares Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese with Yunan dialect and Yangshan dialect in Guangdong province from the pronunciation system,words characteristics ,which aims at finding variation and evolvtion methods of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese after immigration into Guangxi province for 100 years. This thesis can offer some facts for the study of Cantonese ,language contacts and variation.This thesis is devided into totally six chapters.An introduction part introduces population situation, Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) household source and its circumjacent dialect environment of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) village and some explainations about the thesis .Chapter two, the pronunciation system and characteristics of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese,describes carefully the pronunciation system of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山)family Cantonese,and generalizes the pronunciation characteristics in the aspects of the initial,the final and tone.Chapter three, the comparison of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山)'s pronunction system with pronunction system in the aspects of the initial,the final and tone of Yunan dialect and Yangshan dialect in Guangdong province.and explains the similarity and difference between Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) dialect and Guangdong Cantonese. describes Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese of language contacts and variation.Chapter four,words characteristics of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) dialect, describes the words characteristics of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山)dialect and the connections between Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) dialect and Guangdong Cantonese. Chapter five,the comparision of words of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) dialect with words of Yunan dialect and Yangshan dialect in Guangdong province. and simply explains the similarity and difference between Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) dialect and Guangdong Cantonese.Chapter six epilogue is a simple generalization of the thesis.This thesis has four appendixes:the syllable table of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese and the wods of Ertang(二塘) and Shuishan(水山) Cantonese.
