A Study Of Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese In Daxu(大圩) Town

This thesis narrates pronunciation system,words,grammar of Yangjia(杨家) village in Daxu (大圩) town,Linchuan(临川)county ,Guilin city,Guangxi province.This thesis also compares Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese with Guangzhou dialect and Yunan dialect in Guangdong province from the pronunciation system,words characteristics,grammar characteristics,which aims at finding variation and evolvtion methods of Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese after immigration into Guangxi province for 100 years. This thesis can offer some facts for the study of Cantonese ,language contacts and variation.This thesis is devided into totally nine chapters.An introduction part introduces population situation, Yangjia(杨家) household source and its circumjacent dialect environment of Yangjia(杨家) village.Chapter two, the pronunciation system and characteristics of Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese,describes carefully the pronunciation system of Yangjia(杨家)family Cantonese,and generalizes the pronunciation characteristics in the aspects of the initial,the final and tone.Chapter three,comparison of Yangjia(杨家)'s pronunction system with medieval times pronunction system.Chapter four,the comparison of Yangjia(杨家)'s pronunction system with pronunction system of Guangzhou dialect and Yunan dialect in Guangdong province.Chapter five,words characteristics of Yangjia(杨家) dialect.Chapter six,the comparision of words of Yangjia(杨家) dialect with words of Guangzhou dialect and Yunan dialect in Guangdong province.Chapter seven,the grammar characteristics of Yangjia(杨家) dialect,describes the grammar characteristics of Yangjia(杨家) dialect,and simply explains the similarity and difference between Yangjia(杨家) dialect and Guangdong Cantonese.Chapter eight,epilogue is a simple generalization of the thesis.This thesis has two appendixes:the syllable table of Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese and the wods of Yangjia(杨家) Cantonese.
