Study Of DilaoHua In Bobai County

My thesis describes the phonology system, vocabulary and grammar of DilaoHua in Bobai town, Bobai county, Guangxi province.This thesis also investigates other ten towns (villages) where people speak DilaoHua in Bobai county, and discovers different historical ranks of development in DilaoHua now, at the same time, distinguishes the variation caused by other languages(dialects) or itself. On this basis, the thesis discousses which dialect should DilaoHua belong to. It can offer a concrete report for the study of dialects in Guangxi.The thesis is divided into totally eight chapters:Chapter 1---Preface. This section introduces the general situation of Bobai county, reviews the related achievements which the senior have made, explains the differences on methods and perspectives between the existing researches and my thesis, and introduces the inquisition process and sources of the language stuffs etc..Chapter 2---The phonology system of DilaoHua in Bobai town. It describes the initials, vowels and tones of a syllable of DilaoHua in Bobai town.Chapter 3---Comparision the phonology system of DilaoHua in Bobai town and Middle Ancient Chinese. The comparision involves the initials, vowels and tones in both of them, and describes the phonology features of DilaoHua in Bobai town.Chapter 4---Differences in DilaoHua of 11 towns(villages) in Bobai county.Resspective comparision between 10 towns (villages) and county town, and explains the causes for some special change of pronounciation, distinguishes the variation caused by others languages (dialects) or itself.Chapter 5---Different phonology ranks of DilaoHua in Bobai county and its linguistic nature. This section analyzes some phonology phenomena of DilaoHua in Bobai county (especially in Bobai town), and tries to reveal its phology ranks, including the remain of ancient chinese and influence from other dialects or languages, and then compare DilaoHua with Yue-Dialect, finally draws a conclution that DilaoHua belongs to Yue-Dialect.Chapter 6--- Vocabulary features of DilaoHua in Bobai town. It lists many local words,ancient chinese words and characteristic words of Yue-Dialect in DilaoHua.Chapter 7---Grammar features of DilaoHua in Bobai town. It describes the morphology and syntax, and finds some special modified tones. Chapter 8---Epilogue. It's a simple generalization of the thesis.This thesis has three appendixes: Appendix 1 is syllable table of DilaoHua in Bobai town. Appendix 2 is homophony words of DilaoHua in Bobai town. Appendix 3 is the vocabularies of DilaoHua in Bobai town.
