At present, senior education in Chinese rural area has developed dramatically. Meanwhile, the new curriculum standards have advanced the higher requirements for English teaching and learning. However, in Chinese rural area, English teaching, especially the teaching of English writing has failed to meet the requirements and expectation, due to varieties of reasons, such as the English teachers' burden of teaching, the huge size of the class, the low motivation of students and the negligence to writing classroom teaching. Therefore, improving classroom teaching of English writing has become a matter of great urgency. Based on the previous research into classroom teaching of English writing, the writer has made a probe into classroom teaching model of English writing in high school of Chinese rural area.The writer has conducted an experiment in Class 11 and Class 12 in Senior Grade 2009, Shuangjiang Senior High School, Yunyang County, Chongqing. The conclusion of the experiment is as follows: (1) It is practical and efficient to practice students' writing by combining writing with unit revision, by following the steps of "revision - preparation -instruction - writing the first draft - proofreading - writing the final draft - teacher's correction, comment & the possible version of the composition". (2) Some workable strategies of implementing the "combing writing with unit revision" classroom teaching model of English writing have been proposed.
