From the 1950s, with the development of language planning study and the printing of"Basic Rules for Hanyu Pinyin Orthography", the theoretical research of word Segmentation has become one of the important fields for national academic. Many scholars took efforts on that field and put forwards a lot of significant views. However, there are relatively insufficient researches concerned on Chinese Text Segmentation for Teaching Chinese as a foreign language version. In the practice of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Chinese Text Segmentation is one of the indispensable compositions. Based on the practical experiences and results of experimental investigations, and also under the guidance of the theory of language planning, theory of teaching Chinese as foreign language and the theory of language psychology, the thesis put forwards a quantitative research about the impact of Chinese Text Segmentation on learning efficiency for the students from Japan and South Korea. The thesis concerns about both theoretical exploration and practical value so that figure out a feasible method which make learning Chinese much easier for foreigners and convey Chinese efficiently, which would, undoubtedly, remarkably make Chinese one of the popular languages in the world.
