Along with the transformation of Chinese culture and history, the value of Lu Xun lies in hisfirm belief in humanity and his perseverance is mainly presented in his insights on the nature oftraditional culture which is featured by the cannibalistic ethics. Lu Xun represents the positiveaspects of Chinese culture which entail the strength to face, recognize, and improve itself as wellas self-denial. It also reveals the strong power of humanity embodied in Chinese culture.Therefore, Lu Xun signals the strength of humanity. The works of Lu Xun is a series throughwhich unveils his humanitarianism and persistence in humanity. The novels Outcry andWandering have expressed tragic experiences and deformed existence of individual life and thesuppression of humanity in the traditional Chinese culture. The essay Wild Grass reveals LuXun's inner world which has shown the struggle between humanity and inhumanity as well asthe awaked humanity battle against the force of deformed humanity. Meanwhile, it symbolizesthe hardship and perseverance of humanity in the growing process of Chinese culture. Lu Xun'searlier literary sketches laid more emphasis on criticizing traditional Chinese culture from theperspective of humanity and the later essays stand for his manner of existence which mainlyfocuses on fighting against the deformed humanity of traditional Chinese culture frommultidimensional viewpoints.
