Banking industry plays a significant role in Chinese economy, which is considered as the precondition & guarantee of the healthy development of the national economy. As the principal part of Chinese banking industry, it is more important for 4 nationalized commercial banks to deepen their reformation further. Since nationalized commercial banks are influenced deeply by old planning economic system, the first step for their reformation is to implement the commercialization indeed, and the reformation in human resource management & development will be a good short cut.For this reason, on base of research in the inside banking system, the following thesis issues a case & its analysis about human resource management & development in the Bank of China, GD Branch, in order to raise some reference advise. In the part of straight matter, the thesis analyzes the human resource actuality in the Branch, points out the major current problem: it has not been commercialized yet, the motivation system is not the best, the system of training is not scientific and full enough, the evaluation system should be completed, the potential of human resource especially of the young people should be developed. In the part of the case, aiming at the actuality of Bank of China, the author tries to put in a human resource management & development reformation proposal through related theories: firstly, make the human resource strategy definite, establish the human-based managerial ideology, build up the commercial management system; secondly, really improve the basic function of human resource management, including in recruitment, maintenance, development, evaluation and adjustment; thirdly, strengthen the human resource development, enlarge the young people procession, build up the human resource storage; fourthly, reform the matched policy and measure for the human resource management, including the external market economic system, social security system, standard work relationship, fluent channel for human resource intercommunication, internal enterprise culture and office automation etc.The best contribution of this thesis is: using demonstration to provide a complete workable proposal for the human resource management & development of Bank of China, and giving prominence to indication, standardization, formalization and systematization.
