There is a period of China's rapid development of social transformation since 1987. In which China has basically achieved the three major social changes: the traditional society to modern society in transition, agricultural society to industrial society, the transformation of the socialist planned economy to a market economy.Social transformation and institutional transition years resulted in the rigid social structure is loose, some began to unravel with the weak sectors of the emerging class began, the new structure of social strata in a series of structural adjustment in the interest began to take shape.Middle class began to emerge and grow, and in China's economy and society increasingly important role in the actor, causing widespread concern.The initial stage of reform of the middle class professional and consumer features such as showing characteristics similar to the Western middle class.With changes in social structure, the middle class started to board the stage of Chinese history, in maintaining social stability and promoting political democratization of the most important social force.But the real birth of the Chinese middle class is still very short time, class development is still not mature enough, forces are relatively weak, also showed a lot of problems, It can not form a stable society and promoting the backbone of democratic society.Meanwhile, the cultivation and development of the middle class also face greater obstacles.With changes in social structure, division of urban and rural structure, farmers in the lower social classes is still very large, a huge expansion of the middle class peasant class as one of the larger obstacles.How to improve the peasants and other lower quality of social class groups?To be absorbed more into the middle classes to become one of the priorities, we need to think about.The classes in Marxist theory and the Theory of Social Stratification as the theoretical basis for further through the historical period of social transformation in China under the basic status of the middle class to analyze the proposed political, economic and cultural measures and other related intermediatefoster the development of class to provide ideas, and proposed the development of the middle class outlook.
