Now our country fundamamental education reform extremely takes the teaching to change with circumstances permit. It emphasizes individuality and diversification in the teaching to satisfy the different regions and the different students' development need. The teaching individuality question is a question in fact which teaches students in accordance with their aptitude. Therefore, this thesis makes a basic investigation and analysis. It is directed against student's conditions of junior middle school in this area, including the students' understanding the geography subject situtation, the study manner, grasping the geography basic skill and the geography teaching situation in various schools and so on. It thus can find out the students' condition to grasp the junior middle school geography knowledge. The research indicates:Attaching less attention to the junior geography teaching, dull and mechanical method, the low teaching level. These are all the reasons to cause the students low knowledge level and ability to geography . It puts forward the strategy to teach students in accordance with their aptitude in the senior geography teaching,including:the strategy of cognition improvement, the strategy of teaching optimization, the strategy of teaching appraisal and the strategy of teaching guarantee.
