At present our rural society is in the period of transformation, which is facing a great opportunity of development. However the alternative situation brings some unharmonious factors and threatens the stability of rural society. Authority and Order is an important academic issue in the fields of politics and society. It's also a real problem calling for deep exploration in the China rural area.Dispute is the product of contradictive conflict and the key content of social instability. The thesis begins with a dispute matter in the China rural area to track the whole process. Base on the result, poly-coexistence is the basic authority situation to have effects on the settlement of dispute. To some extent the settlement can't resolve the problem completely but become a roll booster to deteriorate the dispute since the tension among different authorities.Chapter one to Chapter three is to describe the beginning of the dispute between Xiang Brothers and the exasperated process in the mediate. Chapter four summarizes three authorities that can have effects on the dispute of consanguinity, geography and legal based on the previous description. What effects will be given on the village order? Some tentative discussion will be drawn at the end of the thesis.
