Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures In The Elderly With Chinese Herbal Medicine

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of the three phase of traditional Chinese medicine dialectical combined with operation in the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture in the elderly.Methods:Selection during January 2014 to January 2015 in Shenyang orthopedic hospital inpatient treatment of 59 cases were diagnosed as "femoral intertrochanteric fracture patients as the object of study, 59 cases of patients were older than 65 years of age, in which the Chinese medicine group(31 cases) and non Chinese medicine group(28 cases), two groups of patients in gender, age, fracture type and complications had no significant difference(P>0.05).Results:A total of 59 cases with 12 months of follow-up after surgery.Fracture healing time of Chinese medicine group(12.58±1.62)W,Fracture healing time of non Chinese medicine group(17.07±1.70)W;The Hip function score after 1 month of Chinese medicine group(66.39±3.25),The Hip function score after 1 month of non Chinese medicine group(59.79±2.77);The Hip function score after 3 months of Chinese medicine group(78.48±2.66),The Hip function score after 3 months of non Chinese medicine group(71.46±2.87);The Hip function score after 6 months of Chinese medicine group(89.22±2.11),The Hip function score after 6 months of non Chinese medicine group(81.43±3.18);The Hip function score after 12 months of Chinese medicine group(96.13±1.94),The Hip function score after 12 months of non Chinese medicine group(88.46±2.38)Two groups to compare fracture healing time and the hip function score,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture,the three phase of traditional Chinese medicine dialectical combined with operation in the treatment compared to Simple surgery,A fracture healing time is short, good recovery of hip function advantage,Worthy of clinical popularization and application.
