With the wheel of history rolls on, when the bell was sounded in the21st century, China opened a new chapter of reform and opening. From the politics, economics, society and culture as well as peopleā€™s awareness concepts, all with of the times and society, but also with the inevitable changes in social life. As an important part of modern Chinese language, vocabulary development is the most notable changes which people be able to perceive. With the passage of time and changes in society, some of the old words slowly disappear in peopleā€™s vision and life, at the same time, a large number of new words continue to emerge and increase.As a large number of Chinese New Words increase for a reason, Chinese vocabulary system has changed significantly. These changes, caused widespread concern in our language researchers. What extent to attention? From the statistical results of academic research can be seen. These results are mainly reflected in the monograph and dictionary which discusses about new words. The former has nearly four hundred, which also nearly sixty. Looking back at the road traveled by our predecessors, they all have been studied and analyzed from a different perspective on Chinese new words, collecting and sorting the emerging entries timely. In this point, research of Chinese new words after years of effort exploration, reached the height of today. However, most of these studies is the body of research on Chinese new words, in a foreign language teaching profession has not been enough attention and in-depth development. Relate to its body research, new words in this field still have a long way to go, as well as workers in a foreign language to be continued mining and exploration.This paper mainly focus on the Chinese new words which in listening and speaking course for recording and use. Through comparing and analyzing four representative Textbooks and with the "global Chinese Dictionary of New Words" supplemented, combining with new words from2007to2012which six years of usage table, to make reasonable suggestions and be applied to teaching practice eventually.This thesis is divided into five parts. These parts are investigating and analyzing the use of new words which in Chinese teaching materials. The introduction is to enable everyone to have knowledge of this paper in a whole, focusing on the three aspects:relevant basis and significance of the research, review of relevant research, as well as research object and method of this paper.In the first chapter of this paper is outline of the new words including how to define the new terms, the causes, the status and functions in Chinese vocabulary system.In the second, we talk about the new words play an important role and occupies an important position in listening and speaking causes. Because of this, we should serve as a driving force to do the research with teaching materials.The third chapter is the outline of the present situation research, we try to find the issues through the analysis of the condition.The last chapter is the solving methods to the issues in Chapter3, In addition, to do a little elaborate for teaching method, aims to give the reference and support of class activities as well as the written materialsIn the epilogue, in addition to summarize the views of this paper, but also discussed the deficiencies in this research. I hope this research can provide a little humble heart in this field, to provide some help for teaching a foreign language teachers.
