| According to general requirements for the basic geological education of data management system construction and construction planning of Guangxi Bureau of Geology and Mineral Prospecting and Exploitation, this topic develops automatic cross-platform data transformation tool through the construction of the geological symbols database and its management function. It achieves the accurate conversion for data from the Map GIS platform to the Arc GIS, ensures the authenticity of the data and symbol based on the tenet of constructing unified management platform of geological data and providing convenient services for data applications. In the matter of symbolic representation of geological data,superior performance of usage habits lineage and advanced management platform, it can acquire double revenues, allows the users to transit accessibly from map understanding of the Map GIS platform to the Arc GIS platform.This paper mainly focuses on how to realize file and symbol library transformation and construction of standard symbol database based on the Oracle. The finally realized results meet the needs of Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. The main content is as follows:(1)Cross-platform conversion of Geological data.The conversion function has two modes : independent data conversion and batch data conversion. Inspection assessment on the transformed data: inspection on data topology relation,inspection on data geographic basis information,inspection on data topology validation correctness,inspection on data elements layer,inspection on data property fields integrity and attribute content consistency.(2)Cross-platform conversion of Geological symbol library. To facilitate sharing of the symbol library, specifically solving the phenomenon of all departments which accumulate digital resources of “a Map corresponds to a symbol library” this paper realizes the conversion of Map GIS platform system libraries to Arc GIS platform corresponding symbol library.(3)Geological symbol database management. Using basic library construction, realizing the conversion of original Map GIS point, line symbols, fill symbols into Oracle database based on national standard, eliminating duplicate symbols. Oracle database will manage geological symbol library through presenting common symbols, the function of addition, deletion and query can be realized by this database. Thus it can manage geological symbols as required. At the same time establishing a unified geological symbols query. According to different attributes of geological symbols,rapid symbol retrieval and export can be done. The problem of the symbol library relying on the GIS environment has been solved.(4)Cross-platform application. Geological symbol database management system is based on the Oracle database, combined with project and its related applications.This is the geological symbol database management system and geological data conversion system of Guangxi Bureau of Geology and Mineral Prospecting and Exploitation. We test the map data and symbol library and realize the cross-platform application of geological data and symbol, achieve the desired results. |
