The research area is located in the south of Great Xing’an Range, eastern part of Xing’an Massif, Songneng Massif to the east, Eerguna Massif to the west, which is experienced Paleo-Asian Ocean and Paleo-Pacific tectonic domains, as well as collage and evolution between Siberian Plate and Sino Korean Plate. The Chaiheyuan forest farm is located in the rim of Mesozoic fault depression,Dongwuzhumuqinqi Early variscan orogenic belt. The geologic structure is complex, volcanism and magmatic activity is more frequent.According to comprehensive research on geology, geophysical and geochemical information, typical deposit, and prospecting information, we carried on metallgonenic target areas prospecting to concealed hydro thermal vein type Pb-Zn polymetallic mineralized orebodies in the research area. The main advance achievements from this study area are as followings.1. The research area is located in the two third- level tectonic elements for Dongwuzhumuqinqi anticlinorium and its west part of junction area. There is a deep fault in the junction area, and polymetallic metallogenic prospecting area is developed in this area. According to measure of high_precision magnetic investigations, we speculate there is NE-trending fault and NW-trending fault within the A area. Combining information on typical deposit in the metallogenic belt, we consider deposit type belongs to subvolcanic hydrothermal vein type, and is affected by fault structure.2. The research on geology and chemical prospecting reveal element anomaly is significant, combination anomalies is good and mineralized alteration is extensive, which is important district to prospect. In addition, hornfelsed Duobaoshan Group is a sign of magmatic and hydrothermal activity.3. The elements variance of Pb, Zn, Mo, Ag and Cu is higher. The allocation of elements in different geological body is relatively uneven, and is apt to local enrichment, which is laid material foundation to formation of polymetallic deposit. The elements variance of Bi, Sn, As, W and Au is lower and is not apt to mineralization.4. According to R- mode factor analysis for soil measure data, we consider Pb, Zn, Mo, Ag and C u is main ore- forming element. The result of solid geochemical measure and abnormality of exciting current show that superimposed part of soil combination anomalies, mid- high polarization rate anomalies and low resistivity have a very good guidance significance to prospecting.5. On the basis of metallogenic model and ore-controlling in the study area, we consider certain polymetallic orebodies exist in the deep. According to sign of ore prospecting, we outline three prospecting targets(one I- level prospecting target, and two II-level prospecting targets). I- level prospecting target(A area) is the most important ore-forming potential area in the area.6. The engineering verification in the A area show there is Pb, Zn polymetallic mineralized belt about 200 m long, and 50 m width. The deep drilling engineering outline 21 Pb, Zn polymetallic mineralized orebodies(19 Pb, Zn, Mo, Cu orebodies and 2 gold orebodies). The mineralization is concentrated in contact part between rock body and Duobaoshan Group. The rock with fragmentation and cryptoexplosive breccias prove prospecting of metallogenic target is right and feasible. As a whole, ore- forming condition is very good in the study area, and there is hope to find certain scale Pb, Zn polymetallic deposit continue to work. There is more higher Pb, Zn polymetallic element in the well develop of structure, and is closely associated with Jurassic albitophyre. The orebodies most developed in the albitophyre and contact zone. Albitophyre is the most important ore-forming mother rocks and prospecting sign in the study area.
