At present, the use of belt conveyor in our country’s coal industry has gradually towards long distance, large capacity and high rate of direction. So the motor drive power demands more and higher than ever, and then begin to use more motor drivers, to avoid problems with single motor driver. In the process of actual use, the multi-motor drive there are a lot of advantages, but there are driven power allocation imbalance problem, due to the conveyor belt belongs to the coal mine production use adhesive tape. When conveying materials, if the conveyor belt drive part’s drive power is imbalance, the tension will cause its suffered serious imbalance, the conveyor belt injury happens, conveying orbital or rupture, and drive motor fault. For this problem, this paper presents a fuzzy control strategy, trough the PLC and the speed control type hydraulic coupler to adjust the control means of the multi-motor drive power balance. At the same time for the whole control system structure is studied.This control scheme is:by monitoring the conveyor belt speed and stator current signal of the drive motor, to transport it to the PLC controller, and conveyer belt speed compared with the given speed, to control the start of the conveyor belt; Monitor the current signal is compared with the benchmark current signal, take the difference as a control signal, by stepping motor control hydraulic coupler scoop the position of the rod moves up and down, to control the hydraulic coupler internal oil charge amount, make each drive motor stator current value of the basic approach, to meet the requirements of each motor driven power balance.Because the conveyor system has lag and the complexity of multivariable control, cannot use the conventional linear control method, so this paper has selected of fuzzy control strategy, this control strategy is simple. According to the principle of fuzzy control, this paper determines the fuzzy inputs and outputs, selecting membership functions and control rules, and total control decision table was established. Finally, the article is based on it, has used MATLAB simulation software, mathematical modeling of hydraulic coupler was established, and the simulation model of the whole control system is given, the results of simulation are analyzed.In addition, in the hardware selection of this piece, determine to Siemens PLC300as the main controller, Then the various modules of the control system has been selected, Including A/D module, high speed counting module, separation fence and so on. And on the system hardware connection has carried on the comprehensive design of each module. Successively in programming, in this paper, the control system of the main program module and subroutine modules separately carried on the detailed design.From the perspective of the system of the results of simulation and design of this article, Fuzzy control strategy is used to realize the machine output power balance method is feasible.
