Electrostatic precipitator is a kind of environmental protection equipment and plays an important role in reducing dust emissions in the air, which is widely used in many fields such as thermal power, cement, metallurgy, chemical industry, with its advantage of high efficiency, energy-saving and easy maintenance. Electrostatic precipitator needs high-voltage power supply to realize dust removal function, and have different effects on dust removal using different power supplies. Using the high-voltage pulse power supply can not only improve the anti-corona phenomenon and the efficiency of dust collection, but also can reduce power consumption of precipitator. Therefore, it is of great significance of studying and designing high-voltage pulse power supply for electrostatic precipitators.Firstly, this paper analyzes several topologies of switching converters, and analyzes working process of phase-shifted full-bridge ZVS circuit, and selects full-bridge ZVS circuit as the main circuit of the power supply. Then, describes the serial pulse technology and synchronous driving technology, thus designs the high-voltage pulse circuit. In addition, describes the characteristics of many core materials in detail, determines the parameters of the transformer, and also designs the insulation and winding way of transformer.This paper also designs the hardware circuits and software programs of the control system considering TMS320LF2407as the core, including auxiliary power supply, driving circuits and sampling circuits of pulse amplitude, current and frequency, phase-shift PWM program, AD conversion program and PI program.Finally, analyzes the outputs of the prototype and carries out dust experiments From the results,we can concludes that the lead leg and lag leg of the converter successfully finished ZVS soft switching, the output met the requirements, and high voltage pulse power supply is better than DC high voltage power supply.
