Oil is the blood of economic development, non-renewable resource and an importantstrategic materials, the developed countries have established large oil storage tanks based.Petroleum products with a strong volatility and diffusion, with explosive characteristics, withthe accumulation of static electricity and thermal expansion is easy, therefore have greaterreserves of oil fire hazard. How to avoid fire accidents, proactive security protection, is amust actively study.In this paper, according to the safety standards of fire fighting equipment of oil depot anddemand for this particular industry design of large oil storage tank of active defense system,the traditional post fire rescue into pre active protection, the ability to enhance the overalllarge oil storage tank explosion prevention and control the fire fire. System uses a gasanalyzer to multiplex mixed gas tank sealing space extraction analysis, using FPGA as themain control chip, using the technology of SOPC embedded soft core processor Nios II as aprocessor, analyze the mechanism based on the explosive hazardous substances, and thenactive inerting protection three types according to the different environmental conditions, thebeyond a certain concentration ratio, easy to cause fire, explosion and other accidents in atimely manner.This paper gives a soft, the hardware design process of the system, on thisbasis, using Visual Basic as the software platform for the computer monitoring and controlsystem design. System control cabinet to send data information to the center through theEthernet interface, the design of central control cabinet computer through Ethernet and activeclient inerting protection system to establish a data connection, receive real-time field dataand active loafing working like protection system state, and display in the monitoringinterface, on the initiative of inerting protection system data and operator action informationis stored for future access to records, data view.Through debugging analysis and function to the whole active inerting protection systemshow, the whole system is stable, perfect function, high performance price ratio, meet theneeds of the market, to ensure the safety of large oil storage tank is of positive significance tothe problem.
