Tightening in global resources, environment protection and energy awareness is growing today, the extensive development methods is no longer meets today’s time, save energy, and build saving resources society is the current development trends. This paper is on the background of Iron Factory’s de-dusting system energy saving renovation project, which is undertaken by "CHINA AEROSPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING CORP CASIC Energy Technology Center", on the basis of FPGA-based, combined use of multi-sensors, LabVIEW, and Inverter, and other technologies, together to complete the renovation project, to make the de-dusting system achieve energy-saving operating under intelligent control.Energy efficiency de-dusting system is made up by five parts, they are Multi-sensor system, PLC, FPGA, Central Control System, and Inverter. Multi-sensor system is used to collecting the related signals which in production site, then after the convert of A/D in PLC, the corresponding digital signals comes to FPGA. FPGA do some sampling and threshold comparison process, and then the comparing results will be delivered to the Central Control System’s IPC. IPC running LabVIEW programming software, which was used to complete storage and display of the data from FPGA, and sends commands to Inverter according to the results. Inverter is not only accepting IPC’s frequency adjustment commands, but also to communicate with IPC, feedback its real-time state parameters to IPC.This paper has a detailed analysis and research to the "De-dusting fan energy-saving system based on FPGA combined with multi-sensor and frequency conversion technology", the main contents are as follows:(1) Analyze De-dusting System’s function and characteristics of each component, and design out Intelligent De-dusting Fan System’s overall structure, which are based on FPGA.(2) Analyze the working mechanism of FPGA, provide circuits and functions of FPGA’s Core bank, Crystal Oscillator, Power Supply, EPCS and Interfaces, design Clock, Sampling, Sensor Data Processing modules, and conducting simulation verification, completed FPGA’s sampling and threshold comparison process to data.(3) Introduce about LabVIEW’s functions and features, and completes the design of System Operating Interface on LabVIEW. Studied the functions of Hardware Device Interface, and use LabVIEW software complete the communication protocol of USB Interface, achieved the communication between IPC and Inverter.The use of FPGA and LabVIEW, made the De-dusting System more sensitive and accurate, easy to operate, saved the cost of production, and also laid a good foundation for industrial networking, centralized monitoring and management of De-dusting system, truly achieved De-dusting System’s intelligent and energy-efficient reform.
