The main development direction of the filling mining method is the full tailingpaste filling mining method. In full tailing paste filling mining, filling quality mainlydepends on the concentration of slurry and cement sand ratio. The traditional controlmethod of filling system is difficult to implement the stable control of fillingmaterial distribution and filling slurry concentration, and the ability to dealwith emergency situation is poor. In this paper,it takes Fuyuan lead-zinc mine as theresearch object,using the advanced control strategies, design automatic control offilling slurry concentration and cement material feeding system, the main researchcontents include:(1) The filling process design. Through field investigation, the related laboratoryexperiments and field test to determine the horizontal sand silo settling dehydrationfull tailing paste filling as paste filling scheme of the mine, the paper designed thefilling process flows and each subsystem.(2) Study on fuzzy-PID control strategy of full tailing paste filling control system.In the guidance of control theory, the automatic control scheme of filling slurryconcentration and cement feeding systems are designed according to the technologicalprocess of filling and characteristics of the filling equipment in the paper; for thecharacteristics of material transport and mixing system, this paper analyzed thefeatures of the slurry concentration and cement feeding; according to the differentcontrol demand, this paper carried out fuzzy PID control strategy of the backfillingpaste filling system.(3) Simulation design of fuzzy-PID controller in full tailing paste filling system.By using the tool Matlab-Simulink software to design and simulation theconcentration of slurry control system and cement feeding system, and comparison the simulation result of the conventional PID controller with fuzzy-PID controller.Analysis to the simulation result show that the fuzzy-PID controller in the controlprecision, response time, stability is better than the conventional PID controller.The fuzzy-PID controller has many advantages:swift response, small overshoot,high steady-state, and strong anti-interference capacity. The design of the fuzzy-PIDcontroller can satisfy the control demand of full tailing paste filling system.
