In order to enhance the effect of the horizontal dual-shaft total tailings paste-filling mixer, improve its production capacity, this paper was carried out the subject research on “The blade parameters’ optimization design method of horizontal dual-shaft total tailings paste-filling mixer ”,which is based on the previous studies. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Simulation of total tailings paste-filling mixer mixing effect in different blade arrangements. This paper based on the mixing principle was analyzed and compared the mixing effect among the positive unidirection arrangement, reverse unidirection arrangement and symmetrical arrangement. At the same time, it was put forward a new arrangement: hybrid arrangement, and the total tailings paste-filling mixer mixture flow field was simulated by numerical simulation method above four kinds of blade arrangements. It was further verified the superiority of hybrid arrangement according to the simulation results.(2) Blade parameters optimization of the total tailings paste-filling mixer in hybrid arrangement. This paper based on the blade arrangement optimization was optimized and designed on blade parameters(blade width and blade fitting angle) of the total tailings paste-filling mixer. To improve the production capacity, the paper was put forward the constraint conditions and the best.(3) Optimization design of the blade structure. This paper based on the stress and strain analysis of the blade structure model was optimized structure design and put forward suggestions on the material and structure of the blade structure design.The results show that: the total tailings paste-filling mixer mixture flow field in hybrid arrangement have higher strength bigger region, which shows the best mixing effect. Blade width can be determined according to the mixer power and production capacity. The best fitting angle is 49°. Blade material should choose the Q235 which is economic and wear.
