Graphite is a kind of excellent physical and chemical properties of non-metallicminerals, which has a strong resistance to high temperature, conductive and heatconduction performance, and it is widely applied to metallurgy, national defense,machinery and other industries, and the new type of graphite as graphene, sphericalgraphite, graphite and other have superior performance,better application prospect.Chinese graphite resources reserves, the development and demand of graphite wasalso the world’s highest, but with the development and utilization of resources, highquality, easy to choose graphite ore less and less, to meet the needs of industrialproduction, significance to the study of difficult to choose type of graphite ore is veryimportant. Paper selects the Mongolia baotou BaiLingMiao dongshan district ofgraphite ore as studying, to explore development local graphite resources of oredressing process Test from the run of mine ore process mineralogy, roughingcondition, realized the selected condition, processing, closed-circuit test sections,determine the reasonable processing scheme.Process mineralogy studies show that the graphite ore fine flake graphite,and thegraphite grade is low, at6.45%. Most are fine granular and flake graphite, and thegraphite disseminated extent relatively is thin, which generally less than50microns,so monomer solution is difficult. Gangue minerals are quartz, andalusite, calcite,chlorite, mica, feldspar, pyrite, etc., and part of the graphite along the gangue mineralcleavage crack and be in the form of gangue mineral package, so associated mineralcomposition is complex, and with silt content, the graphite flotation separation is quitedifficulty.Through the test to determine the best conditions,then the rough grinding time is6min, grinding fineness is-0.074mm89.83%, pH is8~9, adjust the dose of limedosage is2000g/t, flotation concentration20%, flotation time was5.5min, kerosenedosage is520g/t,2#oil consumption is260g/t, dosage of sodium silicate is400g/t,fixed carbon content is11.12%, and rougher concentrate recovery rate can reach83.72%. Roughing tailings use a scavenging process, and scavenging keroseneconsumption is260g/t,2#oil consumption is100g/t, fixed carbon content is1.53%,final tailings recovery is7.57%, then the tailings scavenging directly discard as tail.Rough concentrate by five grinding process and six selected, get the open processconcentrate index for fixed carbon content is93.28%, the recovery rate is52.57%. The processing of middling is bigger influence on closed-circuit concentrategrade and recovery. The secondary1~4merger of middling was concentrated,scavenging to obtained secondary8,then return roughing;5~7merger of middling wasconcentrated to return to again the third time grinding, ultimately closed circuitconcentrate index is fixed carbon content90.80%and the recovery rate of82.21%,andmeet the national carbon in LZ (-)45-92standard, raw material and battery rawmaterial can be used as a pencil.Recommended process flow is a coarse grinding, one roughing and onescavenging, and rough concentrate for five grinding to six selected, and1-4secondaryconsolidation of middling was selected, the scavenging of middling8return toroughing, and middling5,6,7, merger concentrate back to the third grinding.
