The coiled tubing plays a crucial role in the production operation of oil and gas fields. In recent years, it has been widely used because of the low cost of operation, the high efficiency, convenient of operation and so on. The injector head as a key component of coiled tubing is responsible for driving the tubing up and down from the well. The merits of its structure and performance directly influence the work performance of the whole machine. So it has important theoretical guidance significance and economic value to analysis the structure scheme and research the performance of key institution on new type of coiled tubing injector head.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the coiled tubing machine research status at home and abroad, according to the intended function of coiled injector, the structure schemes of the key components of the injection head are contrastively analyzed, including the driving mechanism, a clamping mechanism, a chain transmission system, it explains the advantages and disadvantages of related structure scheme, providing a theoretical basis for determining the design scheme, structure under different conditions and the final design scheme.The influence factors of clamping block clamping are analyzed and researched, including clamping way, the size of the match, dislocation clamping, etc. Using the finite element analysis software, through the analysis of the parameter results, the possibility of stress concentration phenomenon is reduced. This provide theoretical basis for the design of the clamping block.By using ANSYS finite element contact analysis software to analyze the contact area between floating platen&chain roller and chain roller&sprocket, the stress distribution of the contact area is obtained, finding out the position and reason of maximum stress.The new coiled tubing injector is studied on dynamics performance. By using ADAMS multi-body dynamic analysis software to analyze contact type system and roller type system, the variation of load in chain roller centroid is obtained. The roller will be subjected to impact loading at different directions in the process of movement. According to the variation of the load roller, the relative position of roller and other components under the impact load in different chain system is obtained.
