With the rapid development of national economy and expanding production scale, steel customers become increasingly demanding quality and accuracy. Some of the steel must go through the process of straightening to achieve users’ requirements. Straightening quality has become an important measure of competitiveness standards.Roller of straighter is currently the most widely used straighter, which is also the most perfect straightening technology development of a kind of straightening machine. For the roller straightening machine, the workpiece deformation is controlled by the reduction.The hydraulic amounts decide the workpiece elastic-plastic deformation degree, which is the important parameters of straightening process. Straightening machine frame work in a state of strength and stiffness influences straightening accuracy, which is one of the key factors that influencing the quality and plank directly yield. In order to ensure the normal operation of straightening machines, straightening machine frame for strength and stiffness analysis is also very necessary.This paper comes from BaoGang2-8mm stainless steel plate nine roller straightener project and researchs the key technical problems of the reduction of the rules and strength and stiffness of the frame.By referring to the relevant documents,I participated in the completion of the equipment in the design work. At the same time, using the object and the principle of straightening I established the mathematical model of the straightening machine reduction,which provides theory basis on equipment and procedures of the commissioning and the realization of automatic control. this paper makes key research of the concerns of the design of the strength and stiffness problems.By using the finite element analysis software to frame,I find the original design frame flawed and puts forward to switch to strengthen prestressed frame of solutions,which are accepted in practical design and avoid the major equipment accidents.
