At present, China is in the transition from big country of steel to superpower country of steel and steel industry is also in deep structural adjustment stage. With high added value, plate becomes the focus of development. While the Plate straightening machine is an important auxiliary equipment in plate production line, and it directly determines plate’s quality of flatness.This topic takes Shou Du steel company’s project as a backing, and has researched the key technologies of plate straightening machine-tilting angel. First, according to straightening theory, this topic has analyzed the elastic-plastic bending deformation and established a straightening analytical model based on the straightening scheme, then analyzed in theory the straightening process of plate straightening machine and calculated, drawn conclusions of each roller’s force parameters-bending moment straightening force and bending process parameter under the large deformation and small deformation. Second, as the analytical model provided the basic parameters、geometric dimensions and material mechanical properties, selecting the appropriate material model and using the finite element software-Marc simulate plate straightening process in lager deformation, then analyzed the simulation results and compared it with the theoretical results. Third, according to the theory of whole tilting angel straightening, using Marc simulate those plate straightening processes: when the tiIt angle are tan φ1=1/1425, tan φ2=1.1/1425, tan φ3=1.25/1425.And determined a reasonable tilting angle, analyzed how a difference that tilt angle make to the straightening force, the stress and the flatness.The conclusion through the research and analysis can provide a scientific guidance and theoretical basis for Shou Du steel company in actual production. Also, it can provide the company an optimization method in plate production. In addition, the research methods used in this paper can provide a new means for straightening theoretical development.
