Corrosion causes great economic loss, anticorrosion coating has become the mosteffective, the most economic and the most widely used anticorrosive method, therefore,it is important to study the corrosion coating. Modification of epoxy acrylic resin byorganic silicon, can make its thermal stability, weather resistance, brittleness have beensignificantly improved. Glass flake has good corrosion resistance and resistance topermeability, and is a good anticorrosion with packing, waterborne coatings because ofits safety, environmental protection, pollution-free, become the research hotspot ofanti-corrosion coatings.The waterborne epoxy modified by silane was prepared by KH-570and theepoxy-acrylic graft copolymer which was synthesized by epoxy resin, methylacrylicaxid, styrene and butyl acrylate and investigate the optimize of the preparation and thestructure of the product was characterized by IR. The emulsifier content and ratio,content of epoxy resin, silicone content, electrolytic dosage and initiator content effecton the properties of emulsion was studied. It appeared that the optimization ofconditions waterborne epoxy modified by silicone is follows, The appropritate rate ofOP-10and SLS is2/1, the right amount of emulsifier is2.5%, the percentage of theepoxy is48.19%,the organic silicone is13.29%, the NaHCO3is0.24%, the initiator is0.30%, the grease-water proportion is1/2. Synthetic emulsion has a good stability, highconversion rate. The emulsion performance meet the national standard GB/T20623-2006standard for architectural coatings. TG analysis shows that it is good at thethermal stability.Through the research of the anticorrosive coating preparation process, discover thatthe optimum coating preparation is: Pigment grinding time is1h, dispersion time is0.5h,the film thickness is more than0.25mm, the tin phosphate treatment; the best formula is:paint pigment and binder ratio is2.9:1, glass flake was25.5%, the particle size is80mesh, the surface treatment of glass flake with20%ethanol solution dipping methodKH-560is configured. The titanium dosage is11.2%, the epoxy content of48.19%ofthe emulsion as base material. The coating prepared under optimized condition withgood anti-corrosion performance, the indicators meet the JB/T224-2007"building withsteel structure anticorrosion coating of anti-corrosion coatings requirements". TG analysis shows that: the coatings has a good thermal stability, within the range of262.1℃coating weight loss rate of2.78%.
