It plays an important role for iron production in the development of national economy and technology. Because of some kinds of reasons, in the process of the heating, rolling, cooling, heat treatment and transportation, Bar may have some defaults such as bend of multi-directions. These defaults must be eliminated by straightener in the later process, so that flat product can be obtained. The production of the two rollers straightening has the advantage of the high precision and good quality, therefore, the two rollers straightening takes an important role in the straightening product. At present, the research about two roll straightening is focused on designing of the roll profile in the world; however, the deeper research on the process of deformation is lacked of. Therefore, it has important practical significance and theoretical value to research on the modify rule of the field variable in the process of the straightening.This paper is about a detailed analysis of straightening process and deformation mechanism about two-roller straightener of constant curvature based on the SPAR elastic-plastic theory. According to the theoretical basis of two-roller straightener and the research status of roller curve, it put forward one’s own method about the design of two-roller straightener of constant curvature. Compared with the latest straightening roller of three curvature, the bending degree of bar and elastic-plastic deformation amount changes even as well as ensures that the bars are under plastic deformation and bending degree is even without obvious mutations, thus, it can guarantee the bar’s straightness reliability.Based on simplicity and fast modeling advantages of the curve, but also to meet the need for the roller-type design to actual production manufacturing, we get software to design two-roller straightener with Visual Basic language on SolidWorks3D software development platform. It is bound to facilitate the design different roller type. The finite element model can be established with the finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA. The dynamic simulation of the process of straightening bar can be shown in order to validate the theory.
