The mainly Existing energy supply of Renhe and Nanshan district of Panzhihua City is artificial gas (COG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), it can causes environmental pollution and the price is high.The Extension of the China-Burma gas pipeline, Chuxiong-Panzhihua branch’s building has brought new opportunity to adjust the energy structure in this region.By analyzing the use of existing energy situation, the market situation and forecasts for the future development of the market of Renhe and Nanshan district.The original energy use can not meet the development needs of various industries, so the establishment of a new natural gas pipeline network is imminent.In this paper, through surveying and forecasting the gas consumption of industrial users, commercial users, residents and CNG users of Renhe and Nanshan district’s of Panzhihua City to determine the size of the gas supply market and the amount of pipeline transportation.Compare the actual terrain with local conditions, then choose the best alignments. Use the PIPELINE STUDIO developed by ESI to simulate the new network operating conditions, compare with different schemes to determine the basic parameters of gastransmission process, calculate the end gas storage capacity, then determine the load plan.Secondly, improve the existing specifications gas hand calculation formula, then compare and validation by the PIPELINE STUDIO. According to the principle of selection of pipe line, On the basis of strength calculation, the grade of tube type and steel category is confirmed, strength and stability check are carried out correspondingly.Accordingto the national standard for anticorrosion of pipeline corrosion,anticorrosion layer is the main protection measures, and combined with cathodic protection.Finally, the project strictly follow the station standardized design process, combining with the characteristics of the project and functional requirements.the layout of the station, the layout of the station field is confirmed, the station field craft is designed, and main equipments in the station is chosed out.
