With the developing of economy, the scale of distribution net is expanding fleetly, and using handmade or traditional managing information system to manage overhead expenses is becoming more and more difficult. The Lishui Liandu Power Supply Bureau is now facing a very necessitous and difficult problem, which is the scientizing and standardization of the method of power system parameter management. The method of parameter management now used by power department has many disadvantages, such as dispersive management, unstandardization and so on. Because of these disadvantages the management of parameter cannot adapt the development of the power system. So searching a useful and effective way of parameter management becomes a very important task for the power department.For the requirement of parameter management system, we build a Geographic Information System (GIS), and WebGIS to carry out the electric power network's space managing, manage and share all graph, map, data property information. With this, power department has the viewing analysis measure and make intelligentize managing come ture. This system configures agility, groupware and widget design pertinency and transfer easily. Searching and querying modes are agility and celerity. This benefits our production and management of the power departmentThe technical difficulty of implementing it is analyzed and its solution is proposed. With the service functions of GIS, the system will meet the need of planning, design, scheduling, construction, safeguard and so on. The efficiency of the GIS is improved...
