Based On Gis Campus Public Housing Management System Design And Implementation

Geographical information is the most important information resource and methods for modern society's existence and development. Internet makes application of GIS popular in all sides of our life. In all kinds of Information Management Systems, Geographical Information System is one of the most rapidly developing Information System. Geographical Information System is a new high-tech which fuses computer graphics and database together, deposits and operates spatial information. It binds geographical location with related properties and supplies users with information with accuracy reliability and texts with graphics in order to meet system development, management and spatial information needs. Spatial data analysis and data expression with graphics make data and analysis results explicit, and realize data visualization, at the same time, it can also execute lots of assistant analysis decision-making operations by dint of GIS's unique spatial analysis ability and visualization expression.For a long time, Management Information System based on campus pay most attention to inputting, processing, analyzing and managing of system property datum and do almost nothing to geographical information. It is far beyond enough for whole system information analyzing especially for information related with geographical location. Lots of those datum which needed by campus management are based on spatial datum. For example, if we want a solution to water supply of living area nearby on campus, firstly, we need all water supplies network distribution, water pipes thickness and burden condition, make sure whether new pipes are needed or not and how if necessary and their inconsistency with other pipes, all these works rely on accurate spatial positioning graphical display and datum query. Anciently spatial data locating management and query always depend on manual operation, it is time consuming, manpower wasting and difficult to update, and difficult to analyze the relationship between social establishment and other geographical feature and also difficult to be adapted to campus modern construct. So it is necessary to build a schoolyard management system based on GIS.This paper researches system software platform selection, system analyzing, system data structure design and system function implementation of Campus Public Room Management System based on GIS after surveying, analysis, research and management of public room utilizing on campus.Following content and achievement have been obtained during the research:Firstly, this paper introduces concepts of Geographical Information System and Digital Campus, summarizes domestic and overseas research and development conditions about GIS digital schoolyard construction;Secondly, this paper states status of current campus public room management, generalizes its characteristic, uncovers its shortages, it analyzes background of this system and how necessary it is, and then illuminates its function when it's been implemented in brief. After this it shows system design scheme;Finally, this paper explains how this system is implemented and its function in detail.
