Xi'an Land Use Gis-based Partitioning Methods Study

Dividing district for land use project programming is an important component of the general land use planning. It is one of main means to develop reasonably and utilize high-efficiently land resources. It is one of main bases to confirm the land use of the project and take adopt material measure of land using. It is prerequisite and foundation to do well for drawing up land use planning .The rationality of dividing district is one of the important indexes evaluating scientific of land use planning. It is basic guarantee of dividing district reasonably to correct to use scientific method of dividing district .In 1980s, people go all out with land regionalization in the whole country, Once method of dividing district for land planning was regarded as important subject to research., people have studied the ration and calculated method of dividing district too. In the course of actual planning, most staff member of planning rely on own experience and means of qualitative analysis to divide district for land use. But this kind method of qualitative analysis is simple, lack convincingness. From various kinds of land use project programming recently, it has very strong convincingness to combine qualitative analysis and ration means to divide land use. It remedies the deficiency of qualitative analysis and ration means .It is a kind of trend of dividing district for land use planning in the future too.The land resource in Xi'an was regarded as the research object in this text according to of all kinds of Xi'an statistical data of land quantity in 2003 .I analyzed Xi'an land using degree, combining the relevant social economic statistical data, and made a quantitative analysis for the factor of influencing the land using districting. For having outline of Xi'an land using districting, using the space statistical and classify analyzing method of GIS combining mathematics and physics, regarding 2003 statistics as the sample of analyzing, using 14 indexes of choosing socio-economic development of Xi'an, carrying on main composition analyze by SPSS software, obtained the factor of much influencing for land using districting and carried on cluster's analysis to obtain cluster's result.
