Integrating GIS technology and other natural and economical data, this article establishes a regional land utilization database. Taking the sustainable use of the regional land as a goal, using general geography analysis, real diagnosis analysis, GIS and mathematics statistics, the article discusses the utilization sustainable land utilization approach.Using Beijing's second land utilization survey data, according to land utilization present situation and land utilization type structure and its combination characteristic, this paper Further analyzes land utilization structure characteristics, land utilization layout characteristics, land utilization degree and land economical efficiency.Using the Integrated interpretation of the pictures by remote sensing and the GIS space analysis technology, studying Miyun County's land utilization situation of 1994-2002, this paper discusses land utilization's space and time change rule.Under the support of the geographic information system, through the translation and remote sensing technology, this article conducts the quota research to Miyun County's land utilization from 1994 to 2002. The article also analyzes Land utilization type change quantity analysis; Land utilization type structural change analysis, Land utilization transformation characteristic, GIS space analysis method, and the actuation factor.On the basis of a thorough understanding of land utilization present situation and change, through the land utilization district research, the article elaborates the land utilization regional rule and the characteristic, promulgates the problems and potential during the land utilization, and proposes countermeasures for the sustainable use of regional land resource.
