The Hd-gis Data Analysis And Thematic Map Output

Based on Chinese and foreign references analysis, this paper introduces the principle of geographic information system (GIS) and analyzed the existing highway natural zoning information system research projects in China. Using ArcSDE, Oracle, and SQL++ software platform, the paper designed and established China's basic GIS spatial database and highway geological hazardous elements spatial database. According to GIS spatial analysis and geo-statistics principle, the author designed 4 different models. These are: China highway geological environment spatial analysis model, China highway soil environment spatial analysis model, China highway vegetation spatial analysis model and China climatic geo-statistics model. On the basis of the spatial database and models so developed in this paper and utilizing the spatial analysis and geo-statistical analysis functions of ArcGIS, the author was able to analyze and produce GIS maps for the four models. These maps provide the foundation for zoning of China highway natural zoning research project and its applications.
