Straightening in the cold, hot-rolled, plate rolling process, etc. has become a necessary process, straightening machine is to achieve optimum flatness of steel plates one of the key equipment. In equipment commissioning, pre-production stage there have been some problems, especially straightening machine main drive shaft universal joint overload damage, the problem is the same urgent problem. First, the physical model is simplified as no deformation of the rigid rotor and the inertia of the elastic element without the establishment of the main drive system torsional vibration of the mechanical model, by solving the dynamic equation eigenvalue problem, access to the system's natural frequency and vibration mode and its moment of inertia.
