As an important driving force of the national economy, the steel industry has played an irreplaceable role in the development of the economy. Temper mill as the vital equipment for improving the quality of strip steel, its value is gradually being taken seriously, and thus have been developed and widely used in the steel industry. Whether the smooth elongation is constant in the process of leveling or the setting of elongation is accuracy is the key factor in the quality of level. Therefore to establish a practical model for finite element stress temper rolling process based on the analysis of the level rolling process, which has very important significance.The development of this topic is on the basis of predecessors’ research, in view of the level off rolling process of roll reduction is small, the characteristics of the rolled piece elongation is small, using ANSYS/LS-DYNA this computer aided analysis software, to establish the more practical finite element model of rolling pressure for the smooth rolling process. In order to study a variety of working conditions of each factor’s influence on the level off rolling rules, various rolling conditions in the rolling process, the influence of harmful contact area between the outer roller width for outside the bandwidth in the contact stress and the distribution of deformation, and to study the influence of bending force on the cross section shape of strip and roll gap shape. For flat corresponding finite element model is established, and simulate many variations conditions and pressure distribution between the roller rolls, this has important practical and theoretical significance for the production practice.In order to investigate the veracity and the reliability of the model of the temper rolling, recording and organizing the online data of smooth rolling in-line 2250, by comparing with the finite element simulation of rolling force calculated data, the online data results and the FE results agree with each other basically.
