Mine hoist transit the gangue, stuff and materials, which can be thought as the throat to the mine, is one of the most important equipment in the coal mining. As a result, the reliability and safety of mine hoist must be ensured in the coal mine production. There are a set of detailed instructions about the safeguard of mine hoist in "Mine Safety Regulations", which limit the key parameters in a safe range. As the technology of automation continues to develop, the electronic control technology and drive control technology of hoist improve greatly, digital control technology will be more and more widely applied in hoist.There are still many security problems and shortcomings in the traditional hoist, such as less precision of parking, large impact force, poor query function and so on. This paper improved the control performance and the reliability of mine hoist significantly via the application of the digital control system, according to the hoist control research abroad. It makes the automation to a new level.We transform the digital control system of the new auxiliary shaft hoist in Xinglong coal mine Yanzhou Mining Group, using the advanced hoist automation CNC control theory. We transform the contact relays hoist control system, using programmable logic controller. We built a Remote control and monitor system base on WINCC software. After the transformation, The precision and the reliability are improved and the digital control of mine hoist have been realized. The result shows that the system is reliable and security.
