This thesis is about the tension control of loom. The tension control system is an important part in the textile industry. the result of the control will directly affect the quality of the product. Because there are many factors which will affect the tension of loom control, it is difficult to build a model for the tension control. In the process of control, these are also many factors disturbing the tension control, so it is a tough problem to control the tension of loom.Firstly, this thesis analyses the working principle of the loom, the factors which make the warp tension fluctuate, and the characteristic of the warp tension control, and model are built for them respectively.Secondly, this thesis discusses the control method of warp tension control, the math model of tension control identification. Based on PID control algorithm, we introduce nonlinear control and Fuzzy PID control algorithm, which have been simulated in the MATLAB system. In practice, the math model can generally response the moving tension control. The running results of using those methods states that the PID control method can fit the need of tension control well, but the nonlinear control and Fuzzy PID control algorithm make the result more better.Lastly, this thesis discusses the hardware and software development of electronic let-off controller and electronic take-up controller. The mainfunction of electronic let-off controller and electronic take-up controller is to control the let-off motor and take-up motor, which will stably keep the tension invariable in range.
