G level high sulfate resistence oil well cement is a special kind of potland cement and quality index of the chemical ingredients and mineral composition is required strictly. Now "shlv"brand P.042.5R cement can satisfied the criteria of the best product in full sense, but either chemical or physical ingredients can not meet that of the oil well cement standard GB10238—1998.The densification time and free calcium oxide are the key factors to control.The lab experiments show that the clinker's content of C3A and pulverizing degree of fineness play a important role in controling densification time. By experiments a conclution is made that the best control range of content of C3A and pulverizing degree of fineness are respectly 1.9—2.5% and 310— 340m2/kg.The excess of clinker's free calcium oxide disclosed that the baking ability of rotary kiln is insufficient. There are two main reasons. The first, the ratio of the primary to quadratic air is not reasonable; the primary air is 35% which is so high and that the adjustment of flame is so difficult. Second, the procuring of the short kiln with wet technology is not sufficient and is very easy to heat quickly. Based on the analysis above, a series of technical innovation has been taken including the use of KBN300 new-type double entrance combustion boat, the innovation of LXB-200A,hanging-leg propeller pump seal plan, the redesign of drive rod, the reform of the precuring of kiln tailor, etc, which improved the precuring of rotary kiln system and ensures the success of exploitment.On the basis of lab experiments, the six days industry experiments on the reformed short kiln with wet technology has been executed, which include three process : allocation, baking and cement pulverizing; the control objective of chamotte ratio is:KH:0.944, SM:2.08, IM:0.79. The testing result of Final product coming from the company and the national cement qualification center show that all quality index satisfy the needs of G level high sulfate resistence oil well cement.
