This paper studied the development and application of the 2500KVA smelting zinc electric furnace, explored smelting zinc electric furnace line lifespan, improved LH—400/13 drawing Copper wire machine and coating technique .Main results are as follows.1. The 2500KVA smelting zinc electric furnace is improved .Whendeveloping the electric furnace, its steel shell and splashing condenser structure design and hot equilibrium were computed to ensure its structure and furnace line refractory material is reasonable. The electric furnace structure and subsidiary facilities was designed to adopt AUSMET Copper furnace layout. Improved splashing condenser rotors composition ways and quantity. Improved the dust cleaning device and raw material providing system of electricfurnace. Installed automatic instrument to record furnace temperature, pressure and furnace pressure alarming device. Also transformer short net , 2500KVA energy saving electric furnace transformer were applied. After all those improvement, two 2500KVA smelting zinc electric furnace average output reached 7981 tons per year, 1671.7 thousands yuan are saved per year.2. After analyzed the factors affecting smelting zinc electric furnaceline lifespan, electric furnace line lifespan is prolonged by means of effective measure. These measurements include, adopting plant furnace bottom and three layer to prevent seepage to prolong furnace bottom age. Residue line and residue exit increase suitable thickness, installed residue line spraying system, residue opening installed fixed brick, using recycle water, reduce the thickness of furnace wall, adopting spherical furnace top. Selected refractory material according to different part and control the construction quality. New furnace must baked according to designed temperature curve. Control technology and operation. Adopted these effective measure, average furnace age increased from six month to ninemonth.3. The axes failure reason of LH------400/13 Copper wire drawingmachine was analyzed, and effective measure are adopt to reduce axes failure. The axes use forged 45# steel then marquench and tempering. The dangerous section of axes changed from 4> 85 to 4> 95mm. Two gear is changed to a pair of gears. Gear material is changed from 20CrMnTi to 42CrMo. Improved oil pipe structure, increase the amount of oil spraying ; increase a oil pump and the volume of oil box, a 12m2 heat exchange epuipment is added. Adopted these effective measure, axes failure ratio reduced 50%, and can operate effective.4. The horizontal enamel insulated wire machine of varnish coatingsystem is reformed to satisfy the needs of customers. After the reform , the equipment can produce normal and complex varnish coating. Practice proved that the reform is successful, and the process can operate effectively.
