| Better quality & cost than competitors is the key factor to a company's living and high-speed development under global competitive environment. It is impossible that one type process or product exceed competitors over long time in the world full of information. Under the pressure of quality improvement and cost saving, how to organize and execute process improvement is the key point to a company's success. High speed cable product is one type of main product for Foxconn. It's important problem for Foxconn how to make product be more competition using effective method of process improvement.The target of my paper study is how to find an effective method that can concentrate resource to make the high speed cable process improvement get the maximum benefit. In order to achieve this target, I have got some study aspect, these items as below:1. To analysis & evaluate the traditional operation model of cable product process improvement. Aim at shortage of the mode, lead 6 Sigma management tool to the high speed cable process improvement.2. To analysis & evaluate the 6 Sigma operation model of cable product process improvement. Indicate that 6 Sigma operation model also have disadvantage. It often can't find the root cause for process defect, it will lead to lack of pertinence, when we solve defect.3. To introduce & analysis FCE method, and study how to combine FCE method with 6 Sigma DMAIC mode.4. Aim at high speed cable process characteristic, applied 6 Sigma DMAIC mode combined FCE method in high speed cable process improvement, to find root cause of defect quickly & accurately, and then concentrate resource to improve the high speed cable process base on the important factors, at last to get the maximum benefit. |
