The Movement Of Stomach And Intestine, SP And VIP Expression Changes In Rats With Functional Dyspepsia

Objective: To investigate the movement of stomach and intestine, SP and VIP expression changes in rats with functional dyspepsia (FD)(type of incoordination between the liver and stomach ILAS). To illustrate the possible mechanism of Heweiliqifang' s effct.Methods: All rats were divided into 4 groups at random. The rat models of incoordination between the liver and stomach in FD were induced by stimulating the tails of the rats. After consecutively treated for 7 days, gstric residue and peristalsis of the small intestines were observed in all rats with a maker of dextran blue-2000 to determine to capacity gastric evacuation and intestinal transit. And distributions of SP and VIP in antrum of rats were observed by immunohistochemistry.Results: Compared with the nomal control, gastric emptying rate and intestinal propulsive function were lowered (P<0.05), SP and VIP in antrum of rats were significantly deffrent (P<0.05). After treated with Heweiliqifang ,the aforesaid data were normalized with insignificant difference in comparing with the normal control (P>0.05).Conclusion: Heweiliqifang can promote gastric emptying rate and intestinal propulsive function by regulating the levels of SP and VIP.
