Month Shu Dripping Pills For Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrhea (hanning Blood Stasis) Clinical Studies

ObjectiveThis thesis systematically expatiates on the condition of dysmenorrhea treated by Chinese medicine from the aspects of the etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation, therapeutic principles and methods. Also presents the pathogeny of primary dysmenorrhea and the therapeutic methods of Western medicine.Yueshu drop pill is to evaluate the curative effect of Yueshu drop pill on primary dysmenorrhea (congealing cold and blood stasis) and its safety. And to provide basis for Yueshu drop Pill's application in clinic and subsequent researches.Method45 cases of primary dysmenorrhea (congealing cold and blood stasis) were chosen from Sep 2004 to May 2005. They were divided randomly into Yueshu drop pill's treatment group (n=22) and Yueyueshu powder preparation for infusion control group (n=23). Dysmenorrhea rating criteriaon the basis of symptoms, dysmenorrhea severity classification standards and Chinese medicine symptoms scoring single standard rating. The distribution of age, course of disease, the patient's state was comparable. And the integral of dysmenorrhea, mainsymptoms of the two groups had no statistical difference (p>0.05).We graded according to the standard of perfection. The patients in the treatment group were given Yueshu drop pill tid, while in the control group were given Yueyueshu powder preparation for infusion, one pack each time and tid. Both started at seven days before menstruation, and lasted ten days. The period of treatment contained three menstrual cycles.We observed the degree and duration of pain, menstrual period ,th e quantity, color and texture of menses and other symptom's improveme nt after the treatment. Measured PI,RI,A/B of uterine artery。 The blood routine,urinary routine, hepatic function and renal function of the treatment group were examed before and after the treatment.Then evaluated the curative effect according to the determinant criterion.The measuement data consistent with Gaussian distribution had been analysed by t-test, and the enumeration data been analysed by chi-square test.
