The Large Brassaiopsis Chemical Composition

The stems of Millettia pulchra kurz var. laxior (Dunn) Z. Wei that belong to Leguminosae, are the resource of medicinal herb "Daluosan". As a commonly used drug for eliminating inflammation, alleviating pain, activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis, relaxing and activating the tendons and removing rheumatic arthralgia in Guangxi.The author has investingated the chemical constitutes of the stems and carried out the pharmacological screening test on anticancer in vitro and preliminary studies on quality of medicinal herb.In this thesis, the chemical constituents of the extracts with ethanol from the stems of it were studied, 16 compounds were isolated with silica gel, sephadex LH-20, preparation TLC etc. On the basis of analysis of UV, IR, NMR, MS spectra and measuring of physicchemical characters, their chemical structure were elucidated as karajin(MPL-01); ovalitenin B (MPL-04); ovalitenin A (MPL-06); lanceolatin B (MPL-07); 2", 2"-dimethylpyrano- [5", 6": 8, 7] -flavone(MPL-08); 2'-methoxyfurano-[4", 5": 8, 7] flavone (MPL-09); [2] benzopyrano[4, 3-b]-furo[2, 3-h] [1]benzopyran-6(SH)-one(MPL-10); 6-methoxy-2", 2"- dimethyl-pyrano-[5", 6": 8, 7] flavone(MPL-11); formononetin(MPL-12); 5-methoxy-2", 2"-dimethylpyrano-[5", 6": 8, 7]flavone(MPL-13); lanceolatinA(MPL-16); 6-hydroxy-2", 2"-dimethylpyrano-[5", 6": 8, 7]flavone(MPL-17); stigmasterol-3-O-glucoside (MPL-18); melissyl alcohol (MPL-03);α-sophorose(MPL-20)respectively. Of all these compounds, all compounds were isolated for the first time from M. pulchra kurz var. laxior (Dunn) Z. Wei, compounds MPL-08～11, 13, 16, 17 were isolated for the first time from the genus. Compound MPL-17 was a new compound, named milletchrain A. Compounds MPL-11, 10 were new natural products, named milletchrain B and milletchrain C.The pharmacological screening test of some compounds isolated from the medicinal herb has been carded out and the compounds MPL-04, MPL-06～08 and MPL-17 displayed inspiring results for inhibitory activity against the growth ofA549 cells in vitro. Based on the chemical constituent research and pharmacological screening, the quality control on the raw material was preliminarily formulated.In addition, the progress of the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities on Millettia genus was also reviewed in this paper.
