Secondary vocational nursing school students are special.They go out from the classroom to ward,which means that they will contact with society.Their mental and physical shape will be in a mature stage and set.So it is easiest for them to meet psychological distresses and we call this period the crisis period.This period is unique in physiology,psychology,ideological understanding and behavior for students,especially for the students who are going to work as interns.There are severe psychological changes,emotional instability and in practice it will generate confusion,loss,flinch,and other bad psychological conditions.If measures are not taken to guide in time,it will certainly affect the practical effect,even their normal study and lives.Thus the students probably have a tendency to unhealthy mental status or mental illness. This thesis makes investigation and analysis of the factors which affect the students' mental health and proposes educational measures to help vocational nursing school and hospital correctly understand the students' mental health,manage to educate specifically in teaching progress and bring up talented people so as to meet the needs of our modernization.Adopting Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),this research determined 150 nursing students who were in nursing training in Jinan Health School of Shandong Province.On the basis of learning past research,the researcher compares the students' mental state before and after they are in nursing training,tracks down information about practicing students who have Psychological problems(P≥2),and explores the practicing students' mental condition. According to the mental condition that is shown by the students,the researcher analyses the factors which affect the practicing students' mental health and proposes corresponding teaching measures before and after practice so as to provide a scientific basis of promoting nursing teaching reform and the education of practicing students' mental health.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:There were many students who have mild symptoms of mental in secondary vocational nursing school.The main mental problems arranged in the number of students are anxiety,depression,interpersonal sensitivity,coercion, hostile,horror,somatization.There are remarkable differences in factors between before and after practice(<0.01),especially anxiety interpersonal sensitivity.The school and hospital should pay attention to the students' mental health before and after they practice,take measures to help them resolve psychological problems that they meet.
