Thromboangiitis Obliterans (Thromboangiitis Obliterans, TAO) referred to as vasculitis, is a physical medium and small artery occlusion-based inflammatory diseases. It is one kind of common and refractory clinical peripheral vascular disease in surgery. Most of the age of onset is between the ages of 20-40, the vast majority of patients were males than females. On early stage, it often happens that feeling cold at the end of the beginning of limb, cold, pain, numb, intermittent claudication, following by rest pain, the severe intolerant pain. Ultimately emergence of limb necrosis will happen and leads to toe (that) section off . Pathological changes of TAO are non-suppurative inflammation, with full-thickness vascular thrombosis and luminal obstruction, and the changes are segmental. The disease attacks cyclically, and more violations of lower limbs than upper limbs, and visceral artery involvement is rare. It reported that the TAO is an autoimmune disease in the literature at home and abroad.Thromboangiitis Obliterans in chinese medicine refers to the "pulse Bi", "gangrene off". The Chinese medicine doctors discussed in detail for its pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and treatmental methods. Chinese medicine in the treatment of thromboangiitis obliterans has certain advantages and features. Through thousands of years of accumulatting experience in clinical practice, a more complete method of treatment wasformed, and it has more precise clinical efficacy.Professor Li Guoxin mentors engaged in clinical, teaching more than 20 years, of this disease in depth and meticulous research, in the treatment of accumulated rich experience. In this paper, including the literature review and lessons learned in two parts. Part of literature review on traditional Chinese medicine on the (TAO) Etiology, Pathogenesis and Treatment of the ancient, the modern understanding. Experience in part through a comprehensive collection of academic thought Professor Li Guoxin reflect its relevant information, Recalling compiled Professor Li Guoxin treatment (TAO) of a typical clinical case, summarized the understanding, unique ideas and original treatment and prescription of Professor Li Guoxin for thromboangiitis obliterans pathogenesis .Professor Li Guoxin emphasizes the injury of emotion in the pathogenesis of thromboangiitis obliterans, and he treats patients with the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation, treatting it physically and mentally meanwhile. The use of the classical theory of traditional Chinese medicine, Combining the results of pharmacological studies of modern Chinese medicine, treat with the symptom and priscibe accordingly. can be effective in improving symptoms, reducing recurrent, and achieved a better clinical efficacy.
