| Objective:To observe the change of inflammatory cytokine in serum and muscle tissuehomogenate in rabbit with the third lumbar vertebrae transverse process syndrome, and study the therapeutic mechanism of acupotomy lysis.Methods:30 Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into normal control group, model group, acupotomy lysis(AL) group, electroacupunture(EA) group and AL+EA group, every group have 6 rabbits. the last four groups were made model. The model in rabbits with the third lumbar vertebrae transverse process syndrome was established by inserting a piece of gelatin sponge into the posterior of the left 3rd lumbar vertebrae transverse process. AL group and EA group are used acupotomy lysis and EA therapy applied to "Wei Zhong"of both sides, while AL+EA group used the two treatments. IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α, IL-10, TGF-βcontents in serum and muscle tissuehomogenate in rabbits were tested by Double Sandwich enzyme-linked immunoab sorbant assay (ELISA) technology on day 28.Results:In model group, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α, IL-10, TGF-βcontents in serum and muscle tissuehomogenate was increased significantly than normal (P<0.01), while the contents of AL group, EA group and AL+EA group were decreased than model group significantly (P<0.01, P<0.05). There is no significant difference between AL group, EA group and AL+EA group. Conclusion:Acupotomy lysis can decrease the contents of the inflammatory cytokine in serum and muscle tissuehomogenate, reduce the inflammatory response, and indicate that the regulating action on inflammatory cytokine was one of the intervention mechanism of Acupotomy lysis. |
