| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupotomy release combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,to explore its effectiveness,and to provide more ideas for the external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:80 patients with third lumbar transverse process syndrome who were treated in Anhui Acupuncture Hospital from November 2021 to September 2022 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated with acupotomy combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation,and the control group was treated with acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation.The changes of treatment score(JOA),lumbar flexion range of motion and simplified Mc Gill pain questionnaire(SF-MPQ)scores assessed by Japan Orthopaedic Association before the beginning of treatment,the second day after treatment and 3months after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:(1)Before the beginning of the course of treatment: there was no significant difference in the general data between the two groups(P > 0.05).(2)I`1 ntra-group comparison: the JOA score and lumbar flexion activity of the two groups on the 2nd day and 3 months after the course of treatment were higher than those before the beginning of the course of treatment,while the SF-MPQ score was lower than that before the beginning of the course of treatment.Comparison between groups: the JOA score and lumbar flexion activity in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group on the 2nd day and 3 months after treatment,while the SF-MPQ score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group.(3)On the second day and 3 months after the end of the course of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(95% > 90%,92.5% > 85%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Acupotomy release combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation is effective in the treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome of the third lumbar transverse process.(2)Acupotomy release combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis third lumbar transverse process syndrome has the advantages of definite clinical effect,simple operation,short course of treatment,less pain and short-term and long-term effect.(3)Acupotomy release combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation has a certain positive effect on improving the anxiety of patients with the third lumbar transverse process syndrome. |
