Chinese As A Foreign Language Primary Teaching Materials On The Practice Settings Of The Investigation And Analysis

Exercise design is an important part in compiling a textbook. The quality of the exercises can directly influence the class teaching effect and the realization of the course teaching goal. However, the research on the textbook exercise still lags behind. The current researching results have proved how important and urgent it is to do the corresponding research, but they haven't revealed the detailed researching methods.In this paper, we have made tentative research on the exercises of 3 series of typical elementary comprehensive textbooks on teaching Chinese as a foreign language, which were all compiled in the 21st century. Our research mainly focuses on the exercise quantity, the exercise patterns and the exercise arrangement of the 3 language elements, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. According to the statistics we've collected from these textbooks and under the guidance of the theory of second language teaching, we have analyzed and summarized the features of the exercises in these textbooks, found out their innovation elements as well as the problems. Certain suggestions for the future textbook compilers are also provided in the paper.
