Preliminary The Xining Dialect SOV Sentence Typology Characteristics

This paper bases on the prime theory of Typology and discusses Xining dialect's SOV sentence, Comparative construction, double object and adposition. Through comparition of Xining dialect's sentence with Chinese and other languages in Qinghai,selecting Greenberg's typology theory to be the rule of research;the paper studies the difference and oneness between Xining dialect and Chinese.The conclusion of this thesis is:First, Xining dialect's typological characteristics is postposition language and is different from Chinese;Second, the investigation appears that Xining dialect's order type maybe contact with other SOV languages in Qinghai. At same time ,this conclusion indicate the Hashimoto's model of Contemporary Chinese dialect is compatible with Xining dialect on some aspect.However, this thesis is a simple work.The institute continued must be concentrated on the reason of such order type. The conclusion maybe be useful to understand the characteristics of Chinese, and the difference between Xining dialect and Chinese indicates that the correlation between Chinese dialect and Chinese is complexed.Xining dialect's typological characteristics will has the possibility of deep discussion.
